9th/10th May 2025 - These bags will include two ripe and ready cheeses with a strong flavour, and a bottle of zingy hot sauce which is past it's best before date (12/24) but absolutely divine! Our surprise bags can contain a wide range of produce - we sell nearly 1000 items in the shop so the bags vary hugely week on week. We often include short dated charcuterie and cheese which may be very ripe or strong and ready to eat. It may also be cheese which is totally delicious but may no longer look the part. We will never include anything unsafe to eat so don't be scared of various moulds you may not recognise, these are usually seasonal and always completely safe. We sometimes also include pasta, soups, patés, hot sauces, tinned fish, condiments, biscuits, crackers and deli items, among other things. The ambient products in each bag may be past, well past (in the cases of hot sauce and similar items which don't deteriorate), or approaching their 'best before' date, though every item is quality checked by staff and remains in excellent condition. Remember, the contents of your Surprise Bag depend on which items haven't sold that day, so it's a surprise until you pick it up!
