METTE LYKKE, CEO

Mette heads up a team of more than 1250, inspiring people and businesses to take action against food waste.

Before joining Too Good To Go, Mette co-founded the fitness community app Endomondo. The app sold to UnderArmour in 2015, and now has more than 30 million active users globally.

Mette is driven by business with a larger purpose, and building teams of talented people to make things happen. She regularly speaks on topics including food waste, leadership, entrepreneurship, business for good, and navigating the world of start-ups and scale-ups.

CHRIS MACAULAY, Country Director - US & CANADA

Chris MacAulay is the Vice President of Operationsfor Too Good To Go North America. In this role, Chris leads the US team’s fight against food waste across all functions, from go-to-market strategy to the success of food business partners on the platform. Chris has been involved in digital ventures since 1998, from joining his first startup SportsWar, to launching Liberty Wireless, to being a founding partner at Chainable—a company offering outcome-directed advisory and technology services and capital investment for digitally powered brands.

Chris has a diverse background in leading new business segments and partnership initiatives, and is passionate about building teams that deliver results with strategy and accountability. Prior to Chainable, Chris spent five years at Under Armour as Vice President of Global Partnerships for Connected Fitness, where he worked to deliver unique, customer-focused solutions to the world’s largest health and fitness community. After first learning about Too Good To Go in 2019, Chris was immediately drawn to fighting global warming by reducing food waste. Chris lives in Arlington, VA, and enjoys time with his kids, cooking, and golf.

Since its launch in 2016, Too Good To Go has helped to save over 400 million meals from going to waste, the equivalent to 1.1M tonnes of CO2e avoided.
