We begin with networking and a welcome from Too Good To Go’s CMO, Federico Vazquez. A headline conversation then follows between Sophie Trueman, Managing Director for the UK & IE, and Morrisons CEO Rami Baitiéh - sharing first-hand insights from one of the UK’s retail CEOs, with a curated Q&A to deepen the discussion.
Guests then join discussion circles, co-led by industry voices, to explore practical solutions to food waste challenges. A keynote from a Defra Minister follows, before closing reflections from our sponsoring MP.
The day ends with drinks, canapés, and interactive experiences to spark new connections.

Rami Baitiéh is Chief Executive Officer of Morrisons, joining in November 2023. He brings extensive retail and operational experience from a 28-year career at Carrefour Group, where he held senior roles across stores, merchandising, supply chain and IT. Prior to becoming CEO of Carrefour France In July 2020, he held the position of CEO Carrefour Spain, Executive Director of Carrefour Argentina and Executive Director of Carrefour Taiwan.

As Chief Marketing Officer at Too Good To Go, Federico Vazquez is responsible for leading the company’s global marketing team, covering brand development, growth strategy and innovation. Federico brings over 20 years of experience building brands, driving growth, and leading high-performing marketing teams across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East.

Sophie Trueman is Too Good To Go’s Managing Director for the UK and Ireland. She oversees operations across UK and Irish markets and is committed to furthering our food waste fighting mission. Since joining in 2019, Sophie has delivered new brand partnerships with Greggs, Morrisons, Pret a Manger, Starbucks and Greene King.

Jamie Crummie trained as a lawyer, studying Law at Leeds University and Human Rights Law at Queen Mary, before pursuing his mission to fight food waste. He is the co-founder of Too Good To Go and has been recognised as an Obama Leader, Forbes 30 Under 30, and Entrepreneur of the Year.

Meg Hillier has served as the MP for Hackney South and Shoreditch since 2005. Meg served in Gordon Brown’s Government as a Home Office Minister before being appointed Shadow Energy and Climate Change Secretary in Opposition. She now serves as Chair of the Treasury Select Committee and the Liaison Committee

Mary Creagh has served the Minister for Nature at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs since July 2024. Mary served Wakefield as their MP from 2005-2019 and more recently is MP for Coventry East. Mary is a strong advocate for environmental action and previously served as Chair of the Environmental Audit Committee

From Westminster Station, walk to the Cromwell Green entrance of Parliament. Show your event invitation to security and head down the ramp through airport-style checks. Continue all the way across Westminster Hall, up the stairs and left into St Stephen’s Hall, then straight through Central Lobby. At the desk on your right, ask for directions downstairs to the event corridor. Turn right at the bottom and walk to the end to reach the Churchill Room.
