The winner will receive: One (1) 11-inch 256GB Wi-Fi Apple iPad Pro, color selected by TGTG, with an approximate retail value (“ARV”) of One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety-Nine Canadian Dollars (CAD $1699). The total ARV of all prizes in the Contest is One Thousand Six Hundred and Ninety-Nine Canadian Dollars (CAD $1699).

The selected potential winner must correctly answer the mandatory mathematical skill-testing question to obtain the prize, subject to meeting all the conditions described in the Contest Rules. The prize will be delivered to the winner’s mailing address by a method determined by TGTG, which may include shipment by TGTG, by courier, or directly from the retailer, once the winner has been confirmed in accordance with Section 7.

6. ODDS

The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

7. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

The winner will be selected by random draw from among all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will be conducted by a TGTG representative, who will draw one (1) Entry by hand at random from the Display Safe at the Booth on October 28, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. ET. Entrants do not need to be present at the draw to win.

The potential winner will be contacted by email and/or telephone, using the contact information provided on the Entry, within five (5) days following the draw, confirming the nature of the prize won and how to receive it. Any alternative winner will be contacted in the same manner within five (5) days following their selection. To receive the prize, the potential winner must provide a valid mailing address in Canada to which the prize can be delivered, within the response period set out below.

Before being declared a winner, the potential winner must correctly answer, without assistance of any kind, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered in a manner determined by TGTG. Any potential winner who does not respond within eight (8) days from the date of notification, incorrectly answers the mathematical skill-testing question, fails to provide a valid mailing address in Canada, is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Contest Rules, or declines the prize, shall be deemed to have forfeited the prize, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate potential winner selected by random draw from among the remaining eligible Entries, subject to these Contest Rules.

TGTG reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any potential winner, including age, residency and Conference registration, before awarding the prize. Prizes may not be exchanged for their cash value or for any other prize. Prizes are non-assignable and non-transferable. TGTG cannot be held liable for the use or non-use of the prizes by the winners. In the event of circumstances beyond the reasonable control of TGTG, TGTG reserves the right to replace the prize won by a prize of equivalent nature and value.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND PUBLICITY RIGHTS

Entrant acknowledges that TGTG is the sole and exclusive owner of any and all rights, including intellectual property rights, regarding this Contest, its content and TGTG’s trademarks. Nothing in this Contest shall grant any right, title or interest in or to TGTG’s contents and trademarks to any entrants.

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees that, if declared a winner, and where permitted by law, TGTG may use their name, city and province of residence, photograph, likeness, voice and statements about the Contest, in any media now known or hereafter devised, for publicity and promotional purposes related to the Contest, without further notice or compensation.

9. LIABILITY

By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless TGTG and their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, shareholders, representatives, and agents from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest or receipt or use of the prize.

TGTG’s liability is strictly limited to the delivery of the prizes actually and validly won. TGTG shall not be held responsible:

  • for any incident or accident that may occur during the enjoyment of the prize awarded and/or due to its improper use by each winner.
  • for any problems of delivery or loss of postal or electronic mail (in particular with regard to the delivery of prizes). Any prizes sent by TGTG to a winner that is unclaimed or returned for any other reason by the postal services will be lost to the winner and will remain the property of TGTG.
  • for any direct or indirect, material or moral damage whatsoever if the Contest is cancelled, temporarily or permanently unavailable, does not take place according to the announced Contest Rules or, in general, if participation in the Contest proves temporarily or permanently impossible.
  • for any damage caused to a participant, his/her/their computer equipment and/or the data stored on it, as well as for any direct or indirect consequences that may result from this on his/her/their personal or professional activity. Therefore, each participant is responsible for the security systems that he/she/they puts in place on his/her/their computer equipment, and TGTG cannot be held responsible for contamination by possible viruses or for the intrusion of a third party into the computer system of any participant in the Contest.
  • in the event of communication network failures, malfunction of the reception equipment, or network congestion preventing the smooth running of the Contest or causing, directly or indirectly, a loss of chance in participating in the Contest.
  • for lost, stolen, late, misdirected, damaged, illegible or incomplete Entries, for Keys or Codes that are lost, stolen or defective or fail to operate, or for any malfunction of the Display Safe, revenue calculator, Demo equipment or any other equipment used in the Contest.

The above limitations of liability shall apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in these rules shall limit or exclude TGTG’s liability for any matter in respect of which it would be unlawful for TGTG to exclude or restrict its liability.

TGTG may cancel all or part of the Contest if it appears that fraud has been organized, in any form whatsoever and in particular in a computerized manner, or through any tampering with the Display Safe, Keys, or Codes, and has occurred during the course of the Contest or in the context of determining the winners. In this case, TGTG reserves the right not to award the prizes to the fraudsters and/or to prosecute them before the competent courts.

The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision of the Contest Rules shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. If any provision is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the Contest Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

10. PRIVACY

Personal information collected by TGTG in the course of this Contest, namely the entrant’s name, email address and telephone number, and, for the potential winner, their mailing address, is necessary to enable their participation to be taken into account, to contact the potential winner, to administer the prize draw and to award the prize, failing which the entrant’s participation will not be taken into account. This information may be transmitted to a service provider for the administration of the Contest and the delivery of prizes. By participating in this Contest, you consent to TGTG using your personal information for these stated purposes. Paper Entries will be stored securely and destroyed within 30 days following the end of the Contest, except for information about the winner that TGTG is required to keep for record-keeping purposes. Information entered into the revenue calculator during the Demo is not stored and is used only to generate the estimate displayed. Entering the Contest does not subscribe you to any TGTG mailing list. Full details of TGTG’s data collection and processing policy are available at: https://toogoodtogo.ca/en-ca/privacy-policy (https://toogoodtogo.ca/en-ca/privacy-policy).

11. LAW AND VENUE

Any possible dispute on the interpretation of the rules shall be decided in TGTG’s reasonable determination (subject to applicable law) and shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein. Legal proceedings in respect of these terms and conditions shall be brought before the courts of competent jurisdiction in Ontario.
