6. CONTEST DESCRIPTION (SKILL-BASED NATURE)

This Contest is a game of skill, not chance. The winner is determined based solely on the application of skill, not chance.

The participant with the lowest cumulative clue-solving time wins. Time it takes to travel between clues is irrelevant and is not taken into account for skill or winner.

How this works: A timer starts when the first question is revealed and runs until the correct answer is submitted. Once correctly answered, the timer stops. Then, the participant travels to the next location indicated by their answer. When they arrive within the geofence, and select check in, the timer starts again, and the next question is revealed.

In the event a participant is physically present at a designated location but is unable to complete a geofence check-in due to GPS inaccuracy, device malfunction, or other technical issue, the participant may submit a check-in dispute by contacting Sponsor at social.us@toogoodtogo.com with their name, account information, timestamp, and a description of the issue. Sponsor will review disputes in good faith and may, at its sole discretion, manually verify and credit a check-in based on available server data and corroborating information. Sponsor's determination of all check-in disputes is final and binding. Sponsor is not responsible for GPS inaccuracies caused by a participant's device, carrier, or environmental conditions.

Instead of rewarding physical speed, participants will be rewarded on:

  • Speed of response
  • Accuracy of responses

All scoring criteria are fully described in these Official Rules and applied uniformly to all participants.

Winners will be determined based on:

  • The participant who answered all of the clues in the least amount of cumulative time
  • Only active clue-solving time is scored. Travel time, transit delays, traffic conditions, and time between locations do not count toward a participant’s cumulative score

Sponsor is not responsible for delays caused by weather, transit disruptions, crowds, or other conditions outside of Sponsor’s control.

All scoring criteria will be applied using predetermined, objective standards. No element of random selection will be used in determining winners. Challenges are designed to require skill-based responses and are not susceptible to successful completion through random guessing. Sponsor will not use any form of random drawing or chance-based selection. Sponsor’s decisions regarding scoring, ranking, and winner determination are final and binding. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined by the fastest time solving the final clue.

7. CONTENT STANDARDS

Any content, responses, or submissions provided by participants must not:

  • Be offensive, obscene, defamatory, or abusive
  • Contain unlawful or inappropriate material
  • Violate the rights of any third party

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant whose content violates these standards.

9. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

Winners will be determined based on the criteria described in Section 6. Because this is a skill-based contest, the concept of odds of winning does not apply.

Potential winners will be notified via the email associated with their Contest account. Potential winners must respond within fourteen (14) calendar days of the notification, confirm eligibility, and complete all required documentation, or the prize may be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Sponsor may select the next highest-scoring eligible participant as an alternate winner. Sponsor is not responsible for undelivered, delayed or misdirected notifications.

Potential winners, and where applicable, their travel companion, may be required to complete, sign, and return affidavits of eligibility, liability releases, publicity releases, (where permitted by law), travel releases, tax documentation, and any other documents reasonably requested by Sponsor before a prize is awarded or travel arrangements are finalized. Failure to timely complete and return required documentation may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize, and Sponsor may select an alternate eligible winner.

Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility, identity, and compliance with these Official Rules. Sponsor reserves the right to audit gameplay activity and verify compliance with these Official Rules prior to awarding any prize.

10. TAXES

Participants represent and warrant that they have all rights necessary to grant this license.
